Jason Derulo: TikTok music star to tour Perth in what could be his final tour

He built a pop empire one catchy hook at a time, and now Jason Derulo is bringing his biggest hits to Perth for what could be a landmark night in the city's concert calendar.

The American R&B superstar will perform at RAC Arena on September 23 as the final stop on the Australian leg of his The Last Dance World Tour — a run that begins in Brisbane on September 17 before hitting Sydney and Melbourne.

For Perth fans, the timing feels significant. The tour's name alone raises questions about whether Derulo is winding down his live career, with a new album dropping alongside the shows. This may be one of the last chances to see him at full throttle in an arena setting.

Derulo, 36, last performed in Perth in November 2023 as part of the Fridayz Live R&B festival at the same venue.

This time he returns headlining his own show, armed with a catalogue that spans two decades of floor-filling singles — Wiggle, Talk Dirty, Swalla and Savage Love among them.

The setlist will draw from that back catalogue as well as his latest release, The Last Dance (Part 1), which packages six new tracks alongside a pair of fan favourites.

With 66 million TikTok followers, he ranks as the fourth most-followed male artist on the platform globally — a status he has described as entirely accidental.

All four of his first studio albums cracked the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart, and in 2023 he served as a coach on the Australian version of The Voice, cementing a genuine affinity with local audiences.

His world tour launched in the United Kingdom in late January before sweeping through Europe, with the Australian dates representing the next major milestone.

Off stage, Derulo is co-parenting his five-year-old son Jason King with former partner Jena Frumes. Reports from late 2025 linked him romantically to Bollywood dancer and actress Nora Fatehi.
