Three people have died and a 32-year-old man is in police custody after a violent overnight incident at a family home in Sydney's south-west.
Officers were called to a property on Juliet Close in Rosemeadow at around 1.30am on Sunday following reports of a serious assault.
When emergency services arrived at the scene, they found the bodies of a woman in her 60s and a man in his 20s inside the home.
A third victim — a 64-year-old man — was located alive but with critical head injuries. He was rushed to Liverpool Hospital, where he died a short time later.
None of the three deceased have been formally identified.
Approximately an hour after the bodies were discovered, a silver sedan pulled up at the scene.
Police arrested a 32-year-old man at the vehicle and took him to Campbelltown Police Station, where he is assisting investigators with inquiries.
