Perth is delivering one of its biggest lineups of kids' activities this school holidays, from life-sized dinosaurs to real-life racing video games.

Whether your crew is into prehistoric creatures, ocean science, street circus or getting crafty, there is something for every age group across the city this Easter break, including plenty of free options for families watching the hip pocket.

Jurassic Kingdom — Burswood Running until April 19 at Kagoshima Park in Burswood, Jurassic Kingdom brings more than 20 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs to life across sprawling parkland.

Day and night sessions are available, with 2026 introducing new highlights including Deep Sea Titans — Where Giants Rule, featuring giant lake dinosaurs, the atmospheric Bone Yard, the adrenaline-pumping Raptor Valley and an interactive Dino Hatchery.

Tickets from $34, with free entry for under-twos.

OceanXperience — WA Museum Running through to October 11, this one is well worth a visit during the break.

The WA Museum's immersive exhibit recreates the interior of a real ocean exploration vessel, putting kids in the shoes of marine scientists.

Interactive displays cover deep-sea species discovery, ocean mapping and marine ecosystems. Tickets from $15 to $25, with free entry for children aged four and under.

BattleKart Perth — Malaga For older kids chasing thrills, BattleKart at 516 Alexander Drive in Malaga is essentially a real-life racing video game.

Electric go-karts race around an arena where the track is projected onto the floor, shifting and changing throughout each session as drivers collect bonuses and take on opponents.

Racers under 16 pay $49 per session, open daily.

Lotterywest Boorloo Heritage Festival — Various Perth locations Running the entire month of April across Perth, the Heritage Festival has dedicated kids days packed with storytelling, crafts and hands-on history.

Highlights include coin design workshops at the Perth Mint (April 7-16), sensory play at John Curtin Gallery, tin can telephone making on April 7 and traditional Nyoongar art at Perth Library on April 16. Free.

City of Perth Library — Perth CBD The Perth Library is running holiday crafts through April 19, a native bee haven workshop on April 10, a ukulele school on April 14 and a Nyoongar art session for young adults on April 16. Free.
